I once had the chance of sitting next to an athlete on a journey and we ended up discussing the state of kenyan athletics. He shared that AK is one of the most corrupt and biased sports associations and not the glamour we see on our media. The guy told me whenever he runs outside the country and earns himself some cash he is "forced to share" it with some officials in order to secure permits to race.
I don't know if this is the case here but i wouldn't be surprised that we have Kenyans running for other countries not necessarily for pride and fame of that country but just because running is what they know best and the opportunities in Kenya are "limited".

All the same, WE LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY!!#TEAMKENYA

that was great stuff from the Ugandan - 1st gold medal after 40years bringing the total to 2 gold medals in their history - good stuff. Next team Tanzania... they are yet to strike gold.
It was also inspirational to see the msotho from down south not give up but walk, run jog until he finished...Olympics are about finishing.
here is a video on him

So, is sex, or the lack of sex, to blame for the poor performance of Team Kenya? Did the team get its fair share of rubbers? The jury is out.

Forget about our bad performance. Nigeria went to London with 200 officials, 53 Athletes and N850 Million and returned with 0 Medals.

Who determines what sport is fit for olympics?

I believe we can create our own unique sports and submitt them for verification and approval.
Kenyans are a very unique people with unique unmatched talents.
Fine, we can't do synchronised swimming, javelin, gymnatics, archery, fencing and all those top class games.etc.
Can we climb trees??
Can we milk elephants?
can we kill lions?
can we overlap?
drink and drive?

Yes we can! if u can't beat them, create your own.

Hahaha the story of Nigeria is just pitiful, but interestingly commendable. It's no mean feat keeping your trophy cabinet spotlessly clean lol!! I take refuge in Kenya's bagging the most medals in the land of the primitive apes. No 3 with a full cabinet not that bad.
