I think i know why kenya performs poorly in Olympics... one word - HEATS... Jelimo looked tired by the time she was winning her heat (struggled at the end).

Their competitors go through the same heats.Jelimo is still no where near her 08 form.

@Buster,just seen your question? Those metal things you are saying were part of the opening ceremony event. They were lights that were going on/off in sequence which was giving an effect of a Dj's unit ( a big lawyer of life in East London where the Olympic Stadium and other venues are.
