Dear Customer, the IMEI you submitted is valid for SAMSUNG GALAXY III, Manufactured by SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS.

But you didnt have to say all that, "VALID" was enough.

For those who are on Safaricom, log in, online at

https://selfcare.safaricom.co.ke/

there after, go to PRODUCTS & SERVICES>PHONE BAR
you'll then get a list of all phones you've ever used on your phone, giving the IMEI and the model name, if IMEI is fake, it shall be listed as unknown. You can also get Mpesa statements for the past 3 months etc.

Alternatively, try SUPPORT>INTERNET DATA SETTTINGS, you shall be shown your phone model and number.

This website is really great!! I have been able to check out all my previous phones and found one that was a fake (cant rem which one though)
Anyway, am trying to add another safcom mobile number to my account with no success. When i fill in my other mobile number a pop up appears and asks for an activation code which they haven't sent. Would you know how to go about it?

Hi, I think pre-shipment inspection is not enough and can not disclose all defects. The scope of work for Pre-Shipment inspection is visual quality not quality. In visual quality the appearance of commodity will be check and also quality control record will be reviewed. But in quality inspection is that a independent inspection agency attend to the manufacturing shop and witness some important tests. So for such case you need to carry out vendor inspection and test instead pre-shipment inspection. Pre-shipment inspection has commercial approach but vendor inspection has technical approach.
