..King David thats what you call supreme running and i can't think of a better athlete in these Olympics than you.

BBC is full of crap, they tried to share the glory by insinuation that Rudisha watches youtube videos of Coe and that's why Rudisha is these good. He could have watched some videos but the guy is talented period!!

..Now got to ask in the last 82 100m finals 81 have been run by an all black crew, does geniology play a part in sprints? why can't white guys provide some decent competition and also does it mean black guys can't swim? Nurture v Nature which is which? Mo & Gallup have twisted the long held believe bout altitude training and dominant genes, would like to hear other views??

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

only rudisha will ever go under 1 40 nigel amos was apparently stretchered of the track short of breath that 1 41 will be his lifetime best.to break that record you need a pacemaker faster than rudisha

Five years ago when Rudisha was his age, when the talk was of him and Kaki, they never ran anywhere close to the time Amos ran last night.

don't you get it, they din't have a Rudisha to set the pace for them - its all about the pace

PACE PACE PACE PACE

nakujua kubali yaishe, times in these races keep improving, you can't say those boys recorded those times simply because of pace setting......if that were the case then even akina Vivian would have finished right behind Dibaba!!!

@Nakujua, go and check the video repay as Amos crosses the finish line, the fellow was dying. He was streched to the limits and he wont perform that time in a long time, not this year. Even our own small boy was better!

Those two young ones are good and their age is just perfect. But there are some records which last a long long time. This is one of them. Even Rudisha will have a problem trying to break it.

That run was special. He was in shape, the atmosphere was excellent and he was damn motivated.

I don't see it being broken soon by anyone, however good they are. They will forever run just a few seconds behind that record for a long long time until another genius shows up.

Running sub 25 seconds every 200 meters is not a joke. I tried running up the stairs and I nearly fainted and it took me 1:50:23. Still my house record.

mmmmh..the 800m record for women was set 29 years ago,the closest any one has got was Jelimo in 2008,running just 0.73seconds slower than Kratochvilova did in 1983.Someday it will still be broken.

There is this joke I heard last week.

Apparently, Apple want(ed) to release iphone 5 before the Chinese kids return from the olympics and start doing replicas!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

How come we don't participate in tu 'simple' sports like triple jump, pole vault, throwing discus? Our maasai's can't throw javelin and the way they are harassing lions in Kitengela?
Even those tu chaps in shags who are quick to unleash bow and arrows mkikosana - they surely can do archery?
Or maybe we 'Olympicize' our own games like 'shake'? smile
Moving away from just track events to other field events will boost our medal hauls
