Mwakwere fails to get a reprieve from court to avoid arrest over hate speech, police can now go ahead and arrest the environment minister!!!!

The last time i heard of a Kenya cabinet minister arrested on Kenya soil was way back in November of 1991.

And the last time you had heard a top official lose her/his job for pinching someone's nose? [Before Baraza]

That was a bright way of doing it for Mwakwere. Realize the evil you have done, apologise and let your accusers forgive you. But he should have done this much earlier!

BTW, if the words that he uttered against Arabs were considered hate speech, then I guess a lot of people will be in trouble for innocent-looking utterances!

Was it a private prosecution?

Find this strange. So who suffers from hate speech? The people who lodge a complaint or the society as a whole?

So if someone feels that a certain group of people have been oppressing others, you can't voice your opinion? Or what did he exactly say?

He said "...kama si upendo ninayo kwa mpendwa rais Kibaki mie ningetoa amri kali sana, mie sio mwoga na sisi si watu wakubuogoiwa, nina hasira sana nina hasira mimi..."

Its the the content of the "AMRI" he wanted to unleash that got him in chida. The rest like hasira are normal.
