no wonder many athletes seem to be falling down far too many times - that blanket surface, yummy!

Let this guy celebrate however he wants to, he achieved something he set up to, 90% of you guys at wazua never achieved anything you set up to chieve, so leave this guy alone!

Relax and take it lightly young man unless you do not have a sense of humour.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Fellow slows down and starts running wide!!! Not funny to those watching!!!

To those complaining about his celebration styro, you don't understand what this means!!! An olympic Gold is the highest accolade an athlete can get. Olympics is a reserve for the best of the best of the best. To become the best in such a competition... I don't even know how to explain.

Some of this athletes start dreaming of an olympic Gold when they are 10 years old. Most of them NEVER actualize this dream - given that there is on one Gold medal for the whole world to compete for [per event] once every four years!

Take one of our greatest athlete, Paul Tergat. He held the world record in the marathon from 2003 to 2007, with a time of 2:04:55, won five straight IAAF World Cross Country Championships titles, 1995 to 1999, broke Gebrselassie's 10,000 meter world record on August 22, 1997 in Brussels with a time 26:27.85 minutes, broke the half marathon world record on April 4, 1998 in Milan by running in 59:17 minutes etc.

In short, Tergat's achievements have made him one of the most accomplished long-distance runners of all time. But one thing still stands out. Paul Kibii Tergat has NEVER won an olympic Gold!!! Now you know what it means to win one!!!

Asi! that's some great analysis there! So does it mean the best of the best of the best only attend the Olympics and ignore these other championships?

Yes. A good example is Ethiopia. A couple of months to a big event - like World Championships or olympics - you will not see them in the Diamond Leagues etc. Most countries pay the athletes for lost income.

Kenya has tried the same - athletes to seek clearance - but they don't want to pay even kawaida allowances!

My Only concern is when he slows down and starts running across the tracks to the outer lanes.kwani he is not interested in breaking or setting any record.Victory gets into his head i presume.
