..So the athletics are in full gear now and surprised at the good performance of Team GB and as usual Bolt brings it when it really mattered no-one even had a sniff at him..what a performance!!

That said i was dissapointed at the perfromace of the men 10k on Saturday where a GOld would have been a surprise at least a medal was in the offing but a European and American winning it thjen something is seriously wrong considering Mo was almost last in Beijing - so what has he done differently in the four years.

On Saturday was fortunate to have had tickets to watch the athletics and passed-by Kenya house (recently opened by Kibaki) where they had a tourism fair. Alright concept was great but what a shoddy event, no info, no nothing, had lucnh with "some officials" from the Tourism board and they had ABSOLUTELY no info just joy riders and they were loads of them - however they were all too keen to discuss the controversies that is in the Kenya team and no surprise the less than below performance being witnessed - aparently Rudisha refused to carry the flag during the opening ceremony, Citizen tv have a media center there and as of Saturday not even one athlete as agreed to an interview Julie Gichuru was telling us yet they were in the vicinity, apparently the tourism board had quite a bit of funding for the olympics and they contacted all media houses to come and accompany them well not even once responded (citizen is there on their own accord) seems Kenya have a penchant of controversy, I was more surprised that Junior officials have accorded themselves the VVIP tags, where they had fully catered room service while the Kenyan team doctor had to look for accomodation outside the village - it's sad if all these "allegations" are true seems guys just went to London to shop and stuff (just like our mpigs)

However if anyone in the tourism board is reading this WHAT A SHODDY EVENT you guys had on Saturday all these freeloaders knew nothing bout tourism, don't even understand the brand or even worse no-where can one buy brand kenya attire for olympics, why showcase kenyan tea, yet one could not buy it?? i could go on and on but well it is what it is.

@Magigi i watched the marathon on telly just like you, however will be there for the men's final once this disspoaintement is over - Kemboi must be smoking some really hard stuff, hard not to laugh by the way..otherwise #Goteamkenya!!

Ps KTB please google what a Crech is?, they had clearly advertised facilities of a creche and we asked 8 people, EIGHT no-one knew what that is jeez!!

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

See how old grown men love moshenes? trivial matters instead of showcasing kenya?

Obiri has a mountain to climb even in the semis,Aregawi the Ethiopian girl will be hard to beat in the final.
Makhloufi the Algerian who in the first round and semis for 1500m men produced a finishing sprint in winning and which was beginning to worry me pulled out with an injury in one of the 800m heats earlier today. He had to be assisted off the track with a slight limp after the 1500m semis ,Kiprop and Kiplangat seize the opportunity!

If Rudisha does a 1:42(modest for him) not many will live with it.Montsho failed at the big stage but then it was time for Sanya Richards to win the olympics after being such a consistent performer at the 400m.

1 45 in the heats means lows of 1 43 in the final 1 42 will win for rudisha ION we have 5 medals most countries would have called it a day
