so what next for her? I mean Baraza?

Only Baba Jimmy can save her. This is a recommendation that will be forwarded to the president for implementation.

Actually NO. Kibaki's hands are tied on this one(via the CONSTITUTION). The recommendation MUST be implemented
Conventional thinkers waste time building shelters when they are unnecessary and then have no shelters when they need them the most. Socionomists do the opposite.

I am sure if she had appologized in the beginning things would have been different.

Very true, and she should count herself lucky. we would would probably be addressing a murder case if not manslaughter.

she should have resigned... would have been paid like 120 million for her tenure and lived happily ever after travelling the world.. heck even employed kerubo as her personal bodyguard...
Mambo ingine sijui watu mbona hufikiria saaana..

Now all she has is a tainted name...and every kenyan knows her now..

imagine if she had done that and got paid, every judge would be looking for a nose to pinch, resign, get paid and live happily ever after. Shame on you Shame on you

Totally agree!!! Iliwe funzo kwa wanawake wenye vyeo na wengine wenye maringo. This is one thing women can borrow from men ...when one man seriously threatens another man's bread, the threatened man either
i) completely annihilates the threat
ii) calls the threat, they break bread (or eat choma), drink beer and come to a mutually favourable agreement for both parties - no hard feelings - then move on with life.
Women? They carry grudges and won't badge till the mighty endure a precipitous fall. d'oh! d'oh!

I also don't understand. Why didn't offer to resign. It was the most honorable thing to do. But then again, someone who is pinching others noses has not iota of humility.

What happens to her benefits?

if am not wrong kazi ikikwaisha then she also doesnt get paid.

Can u imagine if u had a job with security of tenure and then such a thing happens to u alafu u have an option of resigning and still get paid you full tenure salary!!!!

Its like being on leave for all ur working life and getting paid...

enyewe hapo makosa ilifanyika...
she looses everything, her job, credibility, benefits, status, and most importantly all she has worked so hard for in her life over just a simple thing of apologizing...d'oh! d'oh!

Some wags content that she was warned not to. Doing so would have amounted to admitting she brandished the gun, and charges of illegal possession of firearm could have been brought against her. The admission before the police would simply have ensured that she got several years behind bars. She has therefore chosen the challenge the process all through. Makes sense.

If she could pinch a guard's nose, imagine what she would do to you in court if you crossed her or hurt her ego.
A judge, like Caesar's wife should be above reproach.
