we have less than 2 hours to this? what's your take? methinks it was two women quarelling in market place?
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

It is Ok for women to quarrel in a market but the moment one starts pinching noses and brandishing a gun, she has crossed a line and invited the long arm of the law to intervene. Pinching one's nose is assault and in cultural nuances it is madharau. Pointing a gun at somebody (let us not even debate whether the gun was loaded or not) is psychological assault and threatening the peace. Kerubo is supposed to seek redress in a court whose head is Barasa.

Kerubo was not treated like a witness but as a complainant......Nancy will be cleared by the tribunal, that's my take!!!!

Yes she was a witness because a tribunal is an investigative body not a court to discharge justice. Kerubo can use the findings of the tribunal to launch a case in court after the verdict finds that Barasa disrespected her position and brought disrepute to the judiciary. she will be guilty because the threshold is low; she used her position ("you should know people") to threaten an person and used the gun assigned to her by the government because of her position to assault Kerubo. she will go home

And then? we will keep getting our noses pinched every so often?

She may be cleared and the girl gets compensated.
I think that's what she really needs.

Still nothing? I thought we were to hear the outcome at 11:00.
In a place where thought is abandoned, freedom can become a curse.
