KING FEDERER!! HAIL TO THE KING!!

I guess Britain will have to wait a little longer. Maybe 2013.....but going by how all their big titles come in the year ending with 6, I predict 2016!!! Maybe.

Does anybody know why the women get a plate while the men get a cup?

At this rate i don't think Andy Murray will ever win any grand slam.....he is 25 yrs old, at that age Roger Federer had won 7 grand slam titles. Same can be said about Rafa and Djokovic! Murray will get his time on the spot light but i do not think he'll be a tennis legend.

@ Mc Reggae....Federer is a tennis god, most sports analyst consider him to be the greatest tennis player of all time. Fed has 17 grand slam titles while Nadal has 11 titles....although the Spaniard leads the head to head record.

The difference is that at 25 yrs old Fed was on top of his game while Rafa looks like he's struggling....he doesn't seem to be improving. His best tournament is usually the French Open because Clay is his favorite surface. The kind of records that Fed has broken are out of this world.

"From the 2004 Wimbledon to the 2010 Australian Open, there was not a single Grand Slam tournament that Federer did not finish in at least the semis.Even more impressive, he only lost to Juan Martin del Potro, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Marat Safin during that run, who all went on to win the respective tournament that they defeated Federer in."

At 25 yrs old he had broken so many tennis records i can't list all of them here.

Exactment. Records aside, RF is just a joy to watch - and he makes it look effortless. Though age will slow him down soon enough.

This from a BBC commentator during the match yesterday:

"There is no finer sight in tennis than Roger Federer at the top of his game."
