Today it has dropped by 7%. I was expecting it to appreciate now that its end year results are near.

@Murenj and Cnn

v Someone here told us that CMC has secured a supply tender for 120 VW Passats. I asked for source of information and the guy did not reply.

v Note,tomorrow is D-day for KenGen Bond. All eyes and money are heading there. So sell orders are at simply sell by all means necessary. I think closing day for the bond is tomorrow.

@Murenj

v I have a sneaking suspicion that this topic belongs to investment.

If ever there was a share that can replace the NSE-20 index,this would be it.

The index follows this share almost to the last decimal movement.

I wouldn't worry too much about the recent reduction in price....it's the same all over....look at EQTY,for example...

Well,when the economy booms so do purchases of cars... Of course,the mitumbas have dented CMC sales but even I wud rather buy a mitumba. It's an affordability thing.

@Vituvingisana;

Passenger cars are not their main market....and individual buyers are not their target in the passenger cars market either. Thus Mitumba are not a big threat for now.

They are big,very big in agricultural tractors,holding 90% of all sales in this,albeit small,market; quite big in light commercial vehicles and medium buses etc
