Just like Kriegler said that it was difficult to tell who won the 2007 elections, it seems that it will be equally difficult for us to tell who was responsible for the crimes that occurred after these disputed elections, at least if we persist with our current political and social attitudes and systems.

Given that Mr. Kenyatta and Mr. Ruto have already set the position that they’ll still run for elective posts regardless of the ICC verdict, we can be sure that the country is headed for great division. For the import of the matter is not what the constitution says, but whether we have a common sense of justice and propriety or not.

It is clear to me to that the ICC cannot provide the foundation for this common sense of justice no matter what it says, and so our wait and see attitude in the hope that somehow all will be well is about to suffer a rude shock.

Unless we all admit that Ruto and Co. have been nothing but our marionettes, and that we have not been playing our roles well because of our warped sense of identity, and a general political malaise, we will only end up being a house of perpetual conflict.

An important announcement by ICC??....New developments??....what should we expect of their press conference this afternoon?

ICC will most likely add 'irritation' into the political game.

The script is all set; the 'Kenyan' center is under attack from so many directions. But the center wants to hold. It is its nature to hold.

So unless there's a 'Deus ex machina' about to arrive we should expect a heroic death. And when was the 'death of the tragedy' announced?

This whole matter will definitely result in a radical cultural shift. Too great a culture shock coming there.

But before all this; the plot thickens, as forces rush to defend the center where Bensouda is saying "Check!"

There is the probability that Uhuru and Ruto will be given additional charges by Bensouda to seal some glaring loopholes of the case.d'oh!

At the same time, the ICC officials confirmed Thursday they were studying fresh allegations related to PEV, made by Miguna Miguna, a former aide to Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
“We are all reading his book with keen interest,” said Mr Mochochoko at a news briefing, but could not confirm if the prosecution was considering calling Miguna as a witness.
