Have you noticed how it is easy for politicians to throw the civil servants under the bus once some wrong douing has been discovered in their dockects? The latest casualties are the guys from NHC yet im sure they were working together. Now the civil servants have been sacked while Mr Soita Shitanda (his wife was allocated) and Rev Bishop Dr Margaret Wanjiru go scot free.

...the pigs will always get fatter!!!

by the way there are two types of people in the world...those who run the risks and those who run with the rope on their necks...

Basically, the politicians propose and the civil servants execute.

This means that a civil servant can refuse to execute a proposal if he/she feels that it is not right.

I vaguely remember KWS CEO refusing to endorse the crossing of a oil pipe line through a game reserve even after Mutufu Rais called him to inquire why he was delaying doing this.

Thats the same question i asked myself when i read that article. If i am one of the sacked guys I would do them a Miguna Miguna.Btwn that does not mean i support unethical practices as in everybody should go.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.

Dear Senior Civil Servant. Be very careful before you sign that document. You may eat together with mheshimiwa but when the time comes he will say "It wasn't me". He will rush to parliament pay his fellow pigs KShs.30,000 and they will clear his name saying he is msafi kama pamba. Meanwhile you will find yoursef at inda waiting for allocation to Kamiti,Shimo La Tewa Naivasha, Kodiaga,King'ong'o etc... Be very careful

...agreed they have a duty to uphold integrity and do the right thing which includes saying NO when the deal is questionable

Fate of 60,000 civil servants seconded to County govt unknown

Quote:
This means the employees will either be recalled back to the national government, retained in the counties or sent home, in a plan PSC says is meant to improve on service delivery

Quote:
Going forward, it is either you belong to the county government or the national government. We have realised the system of seconding staff to counties is a recipe for poor performance
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Is there a law or clause barring civil servants from being fired?
