Standard Group CEO, Paul Melly was over the weekend relieved off duties. Melly has been the CEO at the Mombasa road company ever since its steady decline. Its TV station, KTN, has within the period of a few years lost its market share to Citizen and NTV, among others. This is despite its numerous re-branding. It has always been rumoured that Paul Melly was being watched closely by the board. However, over the years, he has been retained in anticipation that he would turn things around. This is despite the constantly reducing profit margins.

Problems can get out of proportion, and not only in the wee small hours. Don't let the problems eclipse the Master. Let the Master eclipse the problems.

I have always wondered how he got the job. Never got an answer, so anyone who can explain, kindly do!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

At one point KTN was the station and all presenters were heading there way, then came Citizen with all the money and now its NTV.
Paul melley had really lost it,Jicho pevu was one of the best documentaries in KTN and now it is no more.

Seriously, how do you lose Jicho Pevu??? You must be high!

Give the guys resources, let them concentrate on investigative journalism ONLY, pay them well enough (plus other incentives) and have them churn piece after piece of investigative journalism - Be the Exposé Station - Anything and everything caught on camera!!!

And you lose them to the same station??? They will just replicate the model! Bure Kabisa!!!

He was BOTH my brother!

Don't worry @Impunity. One day you will also hold two positions in the same company. It happens every day. Patience. Patience my brother.

Could it signal a change in terms of political reporting? The man is inclined too much inclined to one candidate. If his main boss has other ideas, he has to go. Remember, elections are around the corner
