Wewe were you convinced by the computer error in the only budget he got a chance to read of Ksh.9b? That was discussed only after TI's Mwalimu Mati raised it?
9b my friend... Think of what that could do for the struggling Wanjikus in your village, the kids going to those funny schools without facilities. We owe it to posterity... These decisions are mostly for them. They are too young to decide. UK is a repeat of what we have had since independence from his father to Moi to Kibaki ... The rot, the bickering...Am assuming you care for the future of your children. Put the politics aside for once and think what's in it for YOU as you or for your children? These guys have shown with consistency that they do not care for you yet they have devised ways to ensure you keep supporting them. Like the Kibera people though living in abject poverty will not give the railline peace for a leader who doesn't do shit for them.
What's in it for you? Has your candidate displayed self seeking behaviour at your expense?

To quote @chrenyan, "For example, can Uhuru whose family owns thousands of acres of land, be relied upon to implement change in the area of land reform? I mean is the Pope a Protestant?! No! If things remain the way they are, then the Kenyattas will be happy. But if they are changed, then they can "suffer" in that land his father stole in Nakuru, in Ruiru, in Taita/Taveta, and all across this country can be repossessed. So they fight hard to look like they want change, when actually what they want most is for no change to happen."

A UK presidency assures him all the land is safe in his family of how many? And who will resolve this land issue in Kenya? And what do they need all of it for anyway??
What's in it for you @mh?Shame on you

I really struggle to understand how as people on this forum of Wazua we can actually be discussing Hague suspects as Presidential candidates. I struggle, honestly.

@ Chrenyan! I cant comprehend too. To make it worse, they are painted as angels with untainted track records.

I will vote Kalonzo. Yes,he trails PK in everything development but what Kenya needs right now is a God fearing President. And i havent said said PK isnt, he just doesnt sell it like Kalonzo does!
PK can come after we, as a country, have established a christian(moral) foundation!
Kenya belongs to God and i believe he is the best guy to counter the onslaught on us by the west to entrench homosexuality, abortion and all other social evils.I could be wrong!
Kalonzo is our Jubilee PresidentLaughing out loudly
Btw, i'm in business & i understand the value a development conscious leader will bring to our nation(am rarely in this section) as most of you know by now!
Yes,and am from the mumbis! smile

Can you tell me how long Kalonzo has served Mwingi? And the various capacities he has served in ALL govts we know? Then take a drive to Mwingi. Then tell me what you expect him to do for the greater Kenya. Talk is cheap.
I see you are also hysterical at the sound of that statement. Even Kalonzo himself would be amused to read this. The reasons you people vote are unbelievable. The middle class.

Peter Kenneth maybe a good manager; at least in as much as his 'development' credentials are true - roads, buildings, e.t.c.

But his game style cannot win in these political times. I'd say that there is a struggle for creating a new political system.

Such a system needs a leader who will allow all the people to have the power to name, to speak for themselves and solve their own problems. The leader will need to spur the imagination of the populace, he/she must embrace uncertainty and encourage others to do the same.

Peter has not even started on this path. UK and Raila on the other hand may attract more votes for they are closer to their constituency's 'spirits.'

But they too are most vulnerable. They, like PK, have no narrative; and this leaves the issue of Presidency wide open. Interestingly, whoever can win the Kenyan presidency, can unite Africa and spur a new civilization.

and where does he get the funds for his projects? Not even the likes of Karume could manage such. CDF funds cannot be suficient for tarmacking roads in an entire constituency!

Of course, I'm one guy who is extremely selfish with my vote. I shall vote for one guy from whom I shall exploit most. I shall not worship a popular IDIOT, a MORTAL, one who takes a smelly dump just like everybody else. . . .not now, not ever. But for somebody willing to spend his own time and energy to make MY LIFE better is the one I can believe in. PK has proved himself. He has utilized the meagre resources, and at times his own, to build us some of the best n smoothest murram roads around. Gatanga is today a HUGE FOREST thanks to him. We have flowing water in many areas. Many have benefited from his largesse, some are today, billionaires. He has helped numerous youths get employment and education. He has lobbied and influenced the making of tarmacked roads all over his constituency while other pigs lazed and lounged and smoked and fought for bigger carpets etc. Most importantly, he has clean wealth, he is one very sharp entrepreneur that many can attest to, while coming from an extremely humble background.I want the best roads, education, reliable energy, a rejuvenated economy, a quality health system, yes, all for ME. I dont care for anybody else, but me, only ME! And I OWN a VOTE! GO PK go. If we fail, I will not regret, at least I will have attempted to change the course of MY life, and by extension, my country, for the better, and I shall be proud of it!. Im one among many who will be laughing at the rest of kenyans for being too generous with their vote and electing a loser to take care of them! Too bad I shall suffer alongside them nkt!
