New investors like I are faced by the challenge of learning slowly and painfully through EXPERIENCE the neccessary tools of work to make investment in stocks meaningful. For example: email for one to be able to make SELL/PURCHASE orders with ease,the need to have internet services with pdf facility to access email attachment,relevant calculator for quick accurate computation and others we are yet to learn. Which other tools are we yet to learn,sk being an informative and educative forum for its members. Please let us feel free to share as in the spirit of a family because all the other factors constant,INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES AND WIT will play a part.

It is good that you accepted that you need help.
First thing,be in touch with the market. Information is the greatest weapon in any market but a cycle always prevails in any counter but timing is of great importance.
All the above tools play a role and are acquired by different means.
Happy investing.

@Embers,

Ever since I joined SK,i have made very good investment decisions. I have learnt a lot from SK members especially Jammo who has taught me things I could never have learnt from a broker. In short,this forum is one of the best tools you have at your disposal

Experience is a slow,painful,but a very effective teacher. Knowledge is a swift but less effective teacher. Make a wise choice btwn the two.
