This one I agree. Raila's sister or Raila jr is not Raila Odinga. We must not demonise the RAO for the sins of his kin unless they are doing so at his orders.

@ Lolest, i totally agree with you but this should also be applied when it comes to MK, UK, WR, SKM and all the other politicians....not just OAR! We should end hii mambo ya double standards when it comes to "our" man.

Watu wa Miguna, your man has talked, he didn't got to Netherlands nor did he reply to Sarah:

"I wish to inform the country that when The Standard newspaper purportedly published an article titled “Miguna answers Sarah Elderkin” on or about July 17, 2012, I was in a jet somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean and couldn’t have been capable of accessing Sarah’s piece in the Daily Nation (which I have still not read, having just arrived in Toronto), and definitely didn’t have the time to write it. It’s unfortunate that The Standard newspaper published a misleading and fake article and maliciously purported it to be mine. By this statement, I would like to put The Standard newspaper on notice that I shall take appropriate legal action against it for this false and clearly malicious publication.

Let me also make it clear that I do not have a Facebook account, have never used that platform to communicate and have no intentions of doing so any time soon. Consequently, purported Facebook publications bearing my name should be ignored as mischievous.

I am scheduled back to Kenya on or about August 18th, 2012, when my family holiday and publicity tour of my book ends. On arrival, I shall issue a comprehensive statement on some of the issues that have been raised in the media in recent days over my latest book and attendant political issues. Until then, I will enjoy my working holiday with my family.

Finally, let me say this: I will not be intimidated, threatened or shouted into silence by con-men, busy-bodies, hangers-on and political groupies.

Thank you.

Dated July 17, 2012 at the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

This is wazua my friend. Here, you apply fair standards to the likes of UK and WSR and you will be called names like 'consistent defender of impunity', 'retrogressive middle class' and tribalist. You are good only when you apply fair standards to Raila.

Ironically, when it came to hissiblings, family or relatives, Raila conveniently forgot thatthey were Luos; hence the formal employment of Oburu (assistant minister, elder brother), Akinyi Wenwa (diplomatic post, sister), BerylAchieng’ (board chair, sister), Ruth Adhiambo (personal assistant/MD Spectre, sister), Rosemary Akeyo (personal assistant, daughter), Fidel (personal assistant, son) and Raila Junior (personal assistant, son), Jakoyo Midiwo(chief whip, cousin), Elkanah Odembo (ambassador to the US, Jakoyo’s brother in law), Carey Orege (permanent secretary, cousin, Joe Ager (Kenya Power, cousin), Paul Gondi (chairman, geothermal authority, cousin), James Ogundo (CDF board, cousin) and many, many others. Seriously? Isn't this an exaggeration? How many "personal assistants" can someone have? Are you saying if we go to the payroll we will find these names? I think its some of these that make the book sound like gutter..... This guy is sharp....I doubt he'd make such a mistake ... Besides, i believe he is influential enough to get his kids into other posts in other organisations than just fixing him in his office....

Prime Minister Raila Odinga, currently on official visit to China, says the Southern bypass project is going to be completed on schedule and at international standards, and that the Northern Corridor, currently under construction, shall open up the entire eastern Africa region to the world.

After reading the first few pages of Miguna Miguna book from 'some other source' I really pity those forking 3k to buy it.How will they handle all that Ego..For real am not reading that book again.

Raila made a blunder by giving this book the publicity it is getting.Sarah just gave Miguna a profile that he wuld not have gotten if she had kept his views to herself.

Salim Lone shld just put the book he is writing down and replace Sarah. Her right of reply is messing up Raila credibility even more than the book, especially when you picture Raila worked with this egomaniac for more than 6yrs giving him some very senior positions.
