...Apart from Ida Odinga whom I see accompanying her hubby in campaigns and sometimes campaigning for him alone, I don't see any other wife of these aspiring presidents supporting their husbands. Kwani kuna nini? Where are these wives? Ama it is a case of a husband spending 4 weeks abroad, coming home on his way to shags...wife asks if she can accompany him na anakataa!!! Hebu jitokezeni muonekane...Aibu aibu aibu...

They will simply crawl out of the woodwork soonest the hubby is elected to Statehouse and start lecturing everyone on everything and b***h slapping guys around as happened with Baks.

may be they do not want to take the attention away from the candidates - you do ot want peole talking about your beautiful wife all the time (for those with beautiful wives).

This is not USA. The wife doesn't add you marks. Even Saitoti's and Ojode's wives couldn't take them for an informal harambee. But I agree with you, something is not right with our society. I totally respect SK Macharia though, he's always accompanied by his wife.

Did you see UK trying to pull a wife support during the launch of TNA? What PR crap!!
