Like McDoba has said so many myths will be broken, you assume the run-off will be between OAR and UK. I do not think there will be a repeat of the 2007 voting patterns ....alot has changed since then.

Maji is more value especially on round 2. Koski may not deliver, RV is not guaranteed and can be a hard nut to crack (ask Kibaki). Either of them is bad for 'mr reformist' since they will continue to drive home corruption as the core of this team.

What about White-Sugar?

Coast is also not solid like Central, Nyanza and Rift. He can guarantee OAR some votes there but not block. OAR best best would have been WSR but their differences seem major at least for now.

IF G7 does not unite behind one candidate and there is a run off between RAO and UK then RAO has a very high chance of being the 4th Pres and according to the current opinion polls thats what will happen. IF the G7 are really serious about blocking RAO then they must stand united behind a candidate who is not UK or WSR. One thing Im sure of is that if the people of Central Kenya and their diaspora have to choose between RAO and WSR then they would rather their votes are spoilt.

This is where Mudavadi comes in, UK and WSR know they are not appropriate at this time. I think they are also smart enough to know RAO may beat them at round 2 with the fact that ICC trials will only be days away, who wants a Bashir scenario in Kenya? They cannot also go public about not running as their voter base will be up for grabs hence lose kingmaker status.

Did they need to close the door for this?
Kalooser grabbed a few of her supporters early this week so I think she is not worth the running mate.
