In 2010 we had like 5 of these buses, today they are in hundreds and are parked in all spaces available in petrol stations at night.

Who owns them?
Why are they being driven/operated like Nissan matatus?

Because they are just upgraded Nisaan matatu's. It is like asking why the 'forward traveler' buses are driven the way they are... Just matatus sharing a colours

I wonder whether the owners make money at all probably they are just repaying loans. the buses are so many after rush hour the majority are just parked.

this is going to be one expensive experiment in the transport sector. Very many enterprenuers are going to watch their investment vanish like smoke.
It is humiliating to be associated with thieves and murderers.

all operators have to belong to a Sacco. so you just pay a ' franchise ' fee and brand it and you are good to go
