As good customer service in Kenya is as good as myth, I would like all wazuans to list places where they've gone and gotten good service so I/we can stop wasting time experimenting, going to all the wrong places. No need of listing bad experiences but if someone lists a place that you dispute, please let us know because it's easy for business owners to PR their businesses here.

BBI will solve it

You will get very good service at ROOPAM BABY SHOP on Biashara street.... comes close to MULCHAND BROTHERS a few shops down on the same street. It's a shame that Mulchand had to close when their building was pulled down for re-development...

Oh, and by the way, these two shops are near I&M Bank, another excellent service institution.... ask @Mukiha and @VVS

Why was my message deleted?

I guess it was because I was replying to the guy that had posted insults and telling him to chill out and my post had to be whacked too because I had posted his nonsense in my reply. No worries, understood.

Interesting how i have racked my brain to remember where i got exemplary service. Safaricom has really improved & nowadays you can actually get through to their call centre,i was also impressed by anniversary restaurants' staff when i had lunch there a while back.

Went to offset my HELB loan and was surprised that a parastatal can offer such quick services. The only element missing was personal touch.

NHIF is the only institution that I know that can retrieve customer information using national ID number.... That's quite good because I can never remember all these numbers that banks and other institutions give you when you join. Why not simply use my ID number?

Interesting... NSSF couldn't retrieve my info using my ID number. It's like I don't exist to them and I've been contributing for years. No wonder it is so easy for them to steal.

Same thing happened to me sometime back. I had the waiting card. The G4S guard could have none of it and I had woken up to avoid the queue.
No ID no service at KRA.

Strange. Doesn't sound logical. A majuu friend of mine once told me he finds service at many places underwhelming. Possibly because Kenyans are understanding about poor service, are used to it and do nothing about it. Very rarely do we see people demanding to see the manager....and the manager of the manager.

with the poor and discourteous service exhibited in KE, you may ask to see the manager and they show you a photo of the owner or the PORK.....
