Did they lower the standard for season 5.
I am almost in tears watching these guys perform.
Where is the vocal prowess,the life,the oomph,the everything?
The crowd is emotional but truth be told the quality of performances is below international ie assuming they hope to make a breakthrough in the competitive music industry.

Ruth should get this.

I agree with @essyk. . i am wondering if those guys are in a competition.

I have say that Ian should stop trying to be like Simon Cowell . . .i am vexed.

TPF5 should just wrap up and give Ruth Matete the prize money, there's no one who even comes close! TPF5 has no competition, at least the others there were always 2 or 3 guys who came out strongly. I miss American Idol, where even No.3's went on to become stars, and it was so hard to pick a winner, such was the level of competition. At the end of the day EABL just want more guys to drink beer as opposed to producing stars...

Problems can get out of proportion, and not only in the wee small hours. Don't let the problems eclipse the Master. Let the Master eclipse the problems.

I think Jackson from Rwanda is also very good especially when he does songs that are not in English....the rest are just BK!

And the judges are just horrible...The judges should be sacked before he show is over...The show has never produced a star...All it produces are singers who join local bands that have their bases in bars along river road..ABK
