The employees should quit & look for jobs elsewhere if they are not happy.

Why should they quit? They helped build the place to the multi-billion company it is today and they deserve all they can get! I'm behind them 100%.
PUMA will still need them
Then Puma can re-hire them.

Nonsense. They were PAID for their jobs. NONE of them worked for free. Show me one employee who worked for 'free' and asked only for a payoff when KK was sold.

I concur @VVS

For sure never even if you are living in a cave but lazima ujipange whatever your status. And commenting on this does not constitute forgetting the plight of the worker but only stresses that there are laws to be followed in any buyout or layoff, we should always be prepared and plan in advance for such eventualities. This has not only affected KK employees but many more.. Kencell, Celtel, Zain, Telkom, KDN, Posta, UUNET, EABL, Safcom, Agip, Caltex, Shell, the list is endless. Whether we live in stone houses, caves or glass houses it happens, its inevitable.... people have to always be ready... Jipange!!!

I did adviced people here to sell KPLC but many ignored and others even went to the extend of telling me how to write my comments NOT to use caps.

I want to who sold his KPLC over 24/-??? (the price they thought would go over it).

This time I am advicing my friends here on the forward to KENOL.

My broker sugested at the beginning of the deal talks that shareholders will be paid 20/-

I am saying I DON'T THINK SO!

Best price 17/- or below (at the moment).

Trade with caution.

Are you basing your recommendation on your broker's estimate or what you think is the fair value of KK?
