Just a question am asking since the formation of county governments, I saw the other day how counties will be inheriting the debts from the local authorities.
How will the revenue be shared, we saw revenue allocation was done depending on the poverty levels and the population. But say in 2013 Nairobi County contributes 100 Billion to the Kitty, what % will go back to Nairobians and how much stays with the National Gov. and how much goes to help the rest of the counties. I do not see why people will contribute to help another county which will be managing its own revenue and expenses. Where do you get such information on revenue sharing? Am sure Wazuans know. Well, sorry I would have said KRA and not the kitty .You want to say The Micah Cheserem Commission on Revenue Allocation is a permanent commission it will be deciding every year, I thought it was just there to put in place the mechanisms of revenue allocation.
