state house should also stop giving them air time by issuing rebuttals to these fellows. it needs a proper communication strategy

What is so sicknening is that a tribalist like this is appointed to vet those seeking public posts in this country!

It would be of interest to see how Kibunjia and his company would treat this so called learned person. Would they have courage to questions Ahmednasir motives rather than wasting public money in chasing harmless musicians?

A fellow airs his opinion, insults are flung at him from all directions by fellows accusing him all all manner if ills. Kibaki has many defenders in Wazua I see.

Those are his opinions...whether right or wrong and he deserves an hearing...What probably he did not tell us is where the construction of the road would have made some economic sense...Probably stretch it further to Garissa so that it would be easy to ship camels to JKIA for export!

This business of personal opinions and right to air them is going a tad too far.
Thika Highway [i don't buy the "Super" part], benefits the whole country and faulting Kibaki for it is being too simplistic.
Kibaki has done a commendable job on infrastructure with importance accorded where due.

I have admired this guy for a very long time but this article is somehow unlike him i.e Offering objective critic.

When he claims Kibaki has only responded to issues regarding Thika superhighway he is definately stretching the truth alil bit too far.

I think the main reason statehouse responded to Jirongo was his comments on funding of 10 Political Parties by state house ...the Issues about thika highway is so stupid even offering a rebuttal is a waste of time.

This is the second time he is rubbishing Thika Rd. I feel sorry for the guy when he writes anything other than law especially economics. He have a sickening hatred for anyone with Gikuyu blood and does not care to distinguish between the Gikuyu elites and the masses. My respect for his fearlessness not withstanding I think he loses it once in a while.
