Such a title for a thread goes to show how tribal we are. How hard would it have been to write the name of the musician instead of his tribe?

Taking one to court is one thing. Proving one guilty beyond reasonable doubt is another thing all together. Ask the Nandi accused of abuse of office

and there they go.

People lighten up!!! I love Kamande wa Kioi and I think it is preposterous to take him to court over the lyrics of a song. Where are peoples appreciation of art. Kamande wa Kioi brought us Karanga Chapo, "Teacher teacher weee" and Kapusi. We who listen to Kamande wa Kioi, listen to him for entertainment and I feel very happy listening to his songs.

Kamande wa Kioi is not our boss, he is not a commander or army general. We are not waiting for his instructions so that we can act so when he sang about kissing his teacher we did not all run go looking for our teachers to kiss them. So when he sings that Agwambo should go and anoint Uhuru because he is the savior, cheer up!!! You can tell him to go to hell if you don't agree with him but to take him to court.... come on!!! Get a life!! Should Fida have taken him to court for singing "Miau Kapusi Gakwa" for hate speech against women?

The man is an artist. The lyrics cannot be taken out of the context of a song and analyzed the same way you would analyze a memo. If his music is not to your taste don't listen to him but do not get the translated lyrics and charge him with hate speech. The voice over for Moi, Raila and Kibaki on the song are from Comedians for crying out loud. Should we arraign the XYZ crew and all those comedians who make fun of politicians in court for hate speech?

kusadikika ! I take you highly but hapa umetupa mbao.that song is insensitive to the core. I wonder what is in it to enjoy for anyone of average intelligence esp at a time when some countrymen are wallowing in poverty in idp camps due to such stereotypes and moreso when we are heading to an election.
