The Americans can be very nasty if they want to but this sounds so far fetched. History is littered with countries and leaders who underestimated them starting with Japan. Do you know that pre WW II Japan was a very warlike nation? When the Americans were through with them they ware singing the pacificist anthem the loudest. It is true that the world is changing but America is still by far the biggest top dog.

Going by the history of our "friend" Uncle Sam, the conspiracy theory is not far fetched! Myself i cant rule out such an act from America as thinking otherwise, is akin to someone suffering from pathoogical delusion

In one of the James Hardly Chase novels I read many many years back, a journalist can not find a juicy story to keep him famous. So he organizes a big time bank robbery. He then starts reporting the juiciest of the juiciest details of the robbery...
