According to the laws of Kenya. a takeover price must be at least 30% higher than the price before suspension. 12.50*1.3= 16.25.

like many people have expressed here, the lifting of suspension co-inciding with profit warning could be a way of softening up investors to a lower strike price.

only a few more hours.
1) Ebu, tell me WHERE this 'law' is... Pap. Please include all the info possible so we can look this up to make our own interpretation.
2) If KK wanted the takeover price to be lower (using the 30% 'law') then why re-start trading? Previously, it was 12.50 but now 14.25 as the VWAP.

“We understand that the company has technically changed hands, while our issues as to how we will be relating to the new company have not been addressed,” said an employee who asked not to be named for fear of victimisation.
end of quote..

Mwenye pesa mpishe....... the employees seem to just want relationship and their jobs guaranteed nothing to stop the takeover... these are hiccups... kelele ya chura...

In most buy outs or management change a few staff might fall out, checkout cases in Kencell, Celtel, Airtel, Safaricom, MTNbusiness, KDN.....

its not personal its just business... as someone once said always strive to own the ladder and decide who will climb it
