The violence in Achebe 's land has reached a point of no return. Religious extremists has escalated the otherwise delicate situation . I propose the south seceding to forming a new country. That's the only way to avoiding genocide of unimaginable scale that has started now. Despite the situation president Badluck Jonathan is in samba land dancing.

Nigeria needs to break for it to return back to normalcy.Just my opinion.
4 things imo ail this once great nation
-Politics
-Religion
-Terrorism
-Grand corruption>>http://www.elombah.com/index.ph...sed-for-money-laundering

I don't know who will help GEJ.

Well i agree the challenges of secession . However considering the current situation , the only practical solution . The northern sharia states including kaduna
get their country. The south another country . Pakistan Baghladesh India were once a single country.

9ja has one of the most diverse ethnic mix with over 250 spoken languages split into 3 clusters the yorubas in the west the ibo in the east and the hausa in the north. while the north remains very volatile (anything from abuja to maiduguri and sokoto) due to religious intolerance (read sharia) terorrism (read boko haram)and an irresponsible leadership, the south is deceitfully peaceful with kidanppings in the delta, river and cross river states; some south cities are no go zone to exparts and even elite locals port harcot, benin, aba etc. Only lagos looks habitable thanks in large part to the govenor one fashiola, but even here the chaos are energy surping! 9ja needs prayers.

One day in the not so distant future that country will explode into a religilious driven genocide of massive proportions (God forbid)if the Boko Haram are not dealt with...it is a ticking time bomb.

I would to hear @Young's take on this...is he still in Wazua???

Despite the situation, northern leaders are silent regarding the violence or inciting their people. " by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood". Mohammed Buhari( former president and leader of the north)
