Why should RAO resign, after all he won the elections

It is only proper that PNU who stole the elections resign instead.

Karua was just a cabinet minister,Raila represents a coalition partner (half of the coalition) so his resignation is not child play.....don't even try to compare it with Karua's resignation......I bet Raila is smiling just watching Karua move to the cold, the way that woman behaved after the stolen elections!!!!......aight!

Two options;
If you feel under cut resign.
or,
Shut up and work.
Seemingly the natural option here is to stay put - what with all the goodies!!. In that case then the decent thing to do is stop whining all the time.

I am just surprise how ungrateful and forgetfull we can turn...Annan came and get us of mess and now we are rebuking him.

Karua...was among the difficult pple to cede during negotiations...we also forget that...

To be honest i dont think she is resigning coz she wants change but it more of she has fallen from grace...and pple who matter are done with her...she is now of use to them...

LETS NOT FORGET THE PAST...GENUINE REFORMERS ARE NOT IN TODAY'S POLITICS

Karua resigned coz she felt she was hindered in her job. A pity coz she would have been a nice thorn in the cabinet.

ka-loser will not resign. The perks for the f**k are too good for him.

Railas Option

Raila need not resign, bearing in mind he is an 'equal' partner in a coalition that has mistreated him with so much evidence. Why did they not simply play fair?

1. Paying him Cabinet Salary claiming he is equal to Kalonzo
2. Contradiction of statements on Civil Service duty performance
3. Official protocol and security placing him below VP
4. Blatant disregard to authority of PM office

In this case,he is only left with the option to CALL OFF THE COALITION GOVERNMENT AND CLAIM his rightful position of President. With no Martha Karua to stand firm...this cow is headed to the kichinjio

This country is headed for a mess, your stocks to the dogs, lets hear what the Muthauras of this world have to say.

Another idiot is here telling us about salaries and duties!

Has it occured to anyone that the National Accord says that the duties of the PM are to supervise and coordinate the functions of the ministries in government? So essentially, if Karua is being hindered in her functions, isn't RAO culpable too!

And to quote someone here, please spare me from the insults coz I'm immune to that!

RAO cannot resign at this point.

He needs to demonstrate maturity, kenya needs a new constitution and the ECK is not in place. Patience,

The value of Karua's resignation is in the timely reminder to kenyans of how alliances based on lying cheating and stealing don't last. And also that there is always no honor among thieves.

@Kingfisher,Karua resigns and you somehow dig up and drag RAO's balls into the conversation. In her resignation, she stated that she has been frustrated by the office of the president so re-direct your missiles.

Obi 1 Kanobi

How will he show Maturity in a powerless position. Is Kalonzo not in a better position to do so according to Muthaura? Raila has been completely denied space to work and it is obvious.

ODM sounded the warning too many times only for their objection to be bellitled. 'we are not here to talk about who enters a door first'

They ridicule him when he points out clear 'madharau' by PNU. They asked for it. Let them deal with the consequences. Alliance 'kibaki and Uhuru' against the rest.

Kibaki cheated once by,there will be no second time. Pole for the sad facts.

Sorry for the facts...but the coming mess is coutoursy of Kibaki,tribalism,croniyism,greed....blame him
