@Vituvingi
What is it between you and Kambas.
I thought the same fate befell both Kibaki and Raila in their maiden jab at the presidency.
In both cases they were only supported by their home crowd.
1997 Kibaki was runners up while Raila had to content himself with the third position.
In 2007,Kalonzo had the magnanimity to concede defeat and happily took what was offered by the victor which is perfectly ok in democracy.
In 1997,Raila conned Kibaki into not accepting the results,and pushing for a re-run btn Moi and Kibaki,only for Raila to beat a spineless about turn and go to bed with the very Moi. Well democracy again,save of the earlier held position.
In any case,Kalonzo has been dismissed as a non entity in the political chess board,why bother with him then,or do you know otherwise.
I thought small and inconsequential players are to be ignored.
This is not about goal keeping for Kalonzo,far from it,but when mud is unnecessary thrown in the direction of a peace loving community like the kamba,one wonders what the motive might be.
Kalonzo is a politician whose national ambition may be realised or not,but that is his business,not Kambas.
They may choose to support him as that is their democratic right,but they never involve themselves in savage buffoonery for him or anybody else for that matter.
I guess,in the way Kalonzo carries himself around,he borrows heavily from the above Kamba attributes.
Come 2012,if Kenyans are so persuaded to give him the job,so be it,if not,Kenya will move on,as we all embrace whoever will have carried the day,as that is the spirit of democracy.
I bet you wont see any blood shed,for or on behalf of Kalonzo,for that would be truly a sad day.
