Hello Fello Wazuans,

I just got back to Nairobi from Nakuru. If you have land in this area please make sure you make frequent impromptu visits. I was shocked beyond my words when I found out that my piece of ka-plot was in the process of a sale transaction.

Had I not been in good terms with my chief who called and alerted me. Poor fellow had made a deposit of 600K.

Am compiling details of the story, will share it ASAP.

The story is actually true. The chief informed us of the actual incident.
What happened is the chap who was buying the property did not go to the ground with the actual map to verify the plot.All the transactions were done on paper.
The owner(seller) had two identical plots with similar developments but different locations within Kiamuyi.One in a prime location close to the main road(mercy njeri) and the other one was further away from the high way. The buyer bought the plot which was further from the road but with the value of the prime one(close to the road). When he made the actual visit he was shown the later and this was unknown to him. What remains unclear is if the seller or the broker meddled with the map knowingly or not. Clearly it was to their advantage(Owner and/or broker).The chief also informed us that owner however at that time was bed ridden.

Thank you very much for alerting us, and also the others who have taken their time to share on the same. I own one and will be going to check on what may be going on.

@Propertyzote

Kiamunyi quarter acre is now going for 1.9m. Prices will soon be beyond the common mwenyeinchi. Do you have any idea what the rate is in Kiamunyi ya juu?

@Njung'e

I thought you left for good? Saw your contribution about ....
Wisdom to detect when share prices hit rock bottom.
When interest on bonds keep going up, you know the bear run is on high street. When interest on bonds start leveling, the bear has met the bull and they have hit rock bottom. When the interest rates on bonds start coming down, the bull has overpowered the bear and you better be riding the bull.
