Before last year, it was possible to get a title. New council byelaws have stopped such small sized subdivisions i.e if you own land and want to subdivide such size now, the council will refuse to grant you permission. There are ways though that you can circumvent this through architectural solutions.

Can the council allow 50x100 1/8 subdivision?

@mnjoro..each council has its own different byelaws. Within each council, there are zones each with their own plot size laws e.g in nairobi, minimum in karen and muthaiga is 0.5 acres while kayole you can have 0.125, all within nairobi city council jurisdiction.

no wonder muthaiga has continued to maintain its high class status - what is the minimum limit in runda - the new houses are being developed on what seems to be less than an 1/8.
anyway, runda is not a place for the wealthy

weka googlemaps coordinates..also give us the actual area in ha(I belief the plot has proper documentation quoting the size in ha)
