I watched in the news as Moi ranted on and on and on about how he was helping Saitoti to clinch the presidency. Despite the fact he fished him from a classroom and threw him into the murky waters of politics, Moi continuously frustrated Saitoti so much that the man lost all the rhythm!!!. I wonder what kind of machozi Joseph Kutuny would classify these ones as!

Why does Moi think we are idiots? He is on record saying that 'Saitoti is my friend, but he simply has no leadership qualities'!! What happened now. Talk of crocodile tears

I wish he had not chosen that occasion to air his views, they were so misplaced, so hypocritical.
The last time Moi talked of Saitoti he said the late was just a friend, who could not carry the weight of 30m kenyans(then). Of course his friend cd carry Billions in Kshs from the Berge but not pple's troubles.

When did he change his heart?

Give the old man the benefit of doubt!

He could have changed his mind. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since 2002. Uhuru has been charged at the ICC, he has deserted Moi's KANU and seems to be his own man now.

How many of us have changed our preferences since 2002? Moi sacked and opposed Kibaki too but supported him in 2007! Maybe he wanted his former VPs to make it to state hse: Kibaki, Saitoti then maybe MM!!
