Now both the Defence and Prosecution teams have unanimously agreed to have the case for Ocampo-4 to start after March 2013! WHY??? I'm smelling oar hand in this, kind of match-fixing the Italian style. Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

OAR wants UK to run. But he will have problems should MM run Great men are not always wise, neither do the aged understand judgement...

Maybe the reason for that is it will be hard to continue prosecuting a sitting president. So why not wait for March 2013 and see if either of the G2 will be president or not. That ensures smooth trials, instead of waiting for maybe 10 years to prosecute. Luck is when Preparation meets Opportunity. ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Maybe the Prosecution have lately come to realized that some of the evidence materials and witnesses that were supplied to them by some of the self-serving human rights groups were FALSE and politically motivated!

Now, what will happen to that reason that oar wants to remove these guys from the presidential race (using ICC)so that he can have an easy ride to statehouse?

Before you rule out MM, there are several cases pending in court. Lets wait for Mutunga & co to rule on article 6 Also please note judges have not yet ruled on the trial date. The fact that defense and prosecution agree does not mean judges will buy into it.

I'd say the same thing... plus for all those not comfortable with UK, like me, and dint have another choice (which i do) then MM would be a better bet. I have heard several people from central prefer MM to UK.

I think almost the entire crop of leaders will be affected by Article 6, from maize to g'berg to sukari nguru very few will be able to pass the test of integrity.MM remains my favorite. the prince will come under intense pressure from family and close friends not to run .a scenario where oar is swearing in at state house while he is in the dock at the hague will be too much for him.
there is also intense udf activity in central kenya with offices being opened in most counties.pointing to something big in the offing.
again 11 months is lifetime in politics
