You didn't get it! Let it pass.

Common sense dictates the following

I can't vote for Uhuru or Ruto coz of the Hague
I can't vote for Raila coz of 2007 upus
I can't vote for MM coz he's probably a project with no ideas of his own
I can't vote for Kalonzo I think that's obvious
I can't vote of PK coz he's still in the parliament that eats and he says jack about it.
I can't vote for Karua as she's full of double speak
I can't vote for any of the lot you have on that list

I find your picky nature a bit puzzling.

What do you want in a leader? Please enumerate.

If we judge ourselves by the same standard we use on the politicians, Kenya would be a nation of saints.

Laughing out loudly just because a law is legal in a white man's country doesn't make it right. Forcing people to vote is wrong and its not democratic. Whether white Australians have it in their laws or not.

Otherwise we'd all want gay marriages since white men in america have it in their laws.

I'm not looking for saints. But with all honesty. Why are you voting for someone you know in your heart has probably been involved in corrupting Kenya in one way or another.

Then a few weeks later you join the forum posts here and scream how bad they are...Get a hanky. You voted for them.

This lot is tainted and tainted big time.

So that's my principle...I won't wake up at 5am in the morning, line up for 6 hours and dip my finger in ugly ink to vote in someone I know is tainted. Just to show guys that I love kenya and can vote.

Sorry.

OK @alma, please tell us what you're looking for in a leader! Your list was not exhaustive. Why do you reject Kalonzo, Kiyiapi, Kamencu, Wamalwa?

The Australia thing was just a digression. Nothing serious.

Does the ordinary Kenyan abide by the same code he insists the politician must abide by?

So forgive me if I pass on an election that is not issue based but still based on the age old Kenyan problem...Personalities with no ideas.

So get used to a large majority of Kenyans who will skip this one.

We shall watch you rave and rant about your heros while we all know in our hearts that they don't deserve to be a maid in your household.

I apoligise to all the maids in the country for even comparing them to these den of thieves.

If none of the candidates appeal to you, then go to the polling station and make that choice...by spoiling your ballot. Best way is to tick on all the candidates (if you leave it blank, some fellow might fill it for you - this is Kenya!)

But make sure you go out and vote - even if your choice is to spoil the ballot!

Come to think of it, there should be a choice of "None of the above" in the ballot. That way, we will be sure that the guy who gets 50% + 1 vote is truly the most popular... when we include those who rejected every one!

Why do you see the colour of those people (Americans and Australians) before you see their ideas?

I suspect that you also see people's tribe before you hear what they have to say....

Applause Applause @mcdoba, I like your zeal!!

But @alma's main reason of NOT voting for Raila is shared by many. Maybe Raila should deal with that reason.

chiaroscuro very fun but no dice. I value my sleep and you won't catch me voting for the sake of it. lol ati spoil my vote...

@McReggae I'm all ears.

Lolest if I have to tell you the kind of leader I'm looking for then you will be voting my leader, not yours.

Please follow the leadership patterns apparent in the judiciary. You can trust them and even if they make mistakes you know they won't be doing it with malice but with the Kenyan people in mind.

Glady's Shollei has changed that judiciary. Mutunga has changed that judiciary. The guys from IEBC have changed the election system. Those are the leaders we need.

Show me those ones and I together with a lot of angry Kenyans will wake up and vote.

NOT your tribal and organised crime like cartel you are putting forward as leaders.

What is the interest in MM by the Central politicians? and their followers

your obsession with 'central' is unhealthy.Shame on you

You remember 2007 and 2005? 'Central' was the main issue. You know the aftermath of that.

and what would be the aftermath come 2012/2013?

I asked is the choice of MM by Central based on the fact that he can be controlled?
@Lolest, Central holds sway in politics...and their people are distributed all over the country...they have a major voice...
In the current situation, politicians have been split back into their tribal enclaves (whether through bribery or any other way)...and their lies the G7 strategy....what glue will hold G7 together? What issues are they addressing? It is only MathaK (and maybe PK) who hasn't talked about an individual..but challenged issues...

@Lucid, take a chill pill...I have said severally, that I wait to see Central vote for someone not their own...currently, they haven't even chosen , some are with PK, others MathaK, others with UK...and your group with MM...as mention by @McDoba...where is the candidate?

Should Kenya burn again, we should not blame politicians. We should blame people who make such statements.

So now it's an issue of a candidate from your place waiting for a candidate from the mountainside?
