By running for the presidency, Raila Odinga will automatically retire from his position of MP for Langata Constituency.

What legacy will he leave with the people of Langata?

Discuss soberly

In Langata he would have seen the population grow from a paltry 150,000 in around 1997 to a whopping 1 mirrion by end of 2012, thatts quite an achievement for a leader.Na hayo ni maendeleo.

Like seriously?

Is he directly responsible for the rise or what exactly do u mean cz as far as am concerned the relationship btwn poverty and population growth is directly proportional.
And the langata pop aren't poor.

@Essyk honey, @Impunity's post herein above is purely tongue in the cheek, if you know what I mean.

Birogo republic meaning what? Ha, there is a kenyan mpig who has many achievements to an extent that etc has to be used. Incredible.

Dont blame RAO for Kibera's current state.
The slum is a goldmine to many near and abroad and he can't force change down their throats. No one can.
Don't even assume that all slum dwellers prefer better living.
My thoughts changed after understanding their mentality plus the politics behind the slum upgrade.
Give some a mansion and they will rent it out.
cz they cant service it.
life is cheap there.
