Kandara Land Company plots

Somebody wants to sell to me a plot near Castle in Thika.Problem is he only has a certificate given by Kandara Land Company.The company will change the certificate to my name.

question is, has anyone got information on the credibility of this company?

go to g4s security group offices and ask them to do for you a land search .to know if the plot already has an owner.
You cld also go to ministry of lands.

unfortunately if the land has not yet been registered and the title document is from the "kandara land company" you will not be able to conduct a search at the lands office. i'd advise that you visit the company's offices and request to see a copy of the head title (entire property from which the small plot has been hived off) and when you do the agreement for sale include the company as a party for them to undertake to process your title.

Its a genuine entity. those plot already have some allotment letters/certificate.

though the members were told to process their titles once they have collected the allotment letters.

i have just finished processing a lease for my Mums plot.
