What's the criteria for getting this invite? mimi ni mtu wa Blanco's... I was watching the final EPL day at Psys Langa'ta with my pals, all decked out in next season's Utd jersey, my arsenal pal had gotten himself an etihad t-shirt and another guy had his Emirates jersey on. I guess we were really shouting coz after the game those Heineken guys came all decked out in black, a dude with 2 chics by his side and a bouncer and they gave all 3 of us tickos. One ticko invites 2 to Carni at some Heineken area, free Heineken the whole night! Then we had a photo op and registered our names. Today they called to confirm we're coming. Saw them give some other patrons as well. Mind you I was taking white cap but my pal was taking Heinekens. I've been hearing guys on radio winning the tickos but didn't expect to get them that easily... BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

..Chelsea beat Barca at Camp Nou surely playing Bayern at their backyard is a moot point. Bayern has issues serious ones, Bastian is struggling with an injury and will be interesting to see if he can keep up the pace of Chelsea and Roberto will play 4-2-3-1 and i can't see who in their defence can hold up Drogba.Bayern are over reliant on their wings Ribery/Robben and Robben is so one-footed and VERY predictable however he has a knack of scoring wonder goals, Ashley cole should not let him cut inside. I actually rate Olic more than Gomez, he is a physical player but again there are loads of CF'S in the EPL like him however he is a potent finisher i think Cahill can match him. I think Essien will partner Mikel and i hope he has a good game, he seems to have lost his magic. I think Chelsea can win this game, as long as our wingers ie Torres and Kalou track Ribery and Robben then we stand a chance. The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

9;45 seems so far. I will be crossing my fingers for a Bayern win. Chelsea got past Barca by playing defensive and capitalizing on counters,i don't see that suiting today's game. The Bayern front-line's height will do what Barca couldn't. Drogba might be the animal he is,but Chelsea's front line to Bayern's,the trio of Franc, Robben n Mario/Olic looks more potent.Robben might be one-footed,but he did sink Man U 2 years ago. I hope both teams will play a clean game, fairness from the Portuguese ref and a convincing scoreline. I don't like 1 goal win/loss.

Time seems to be moving slowly today, hoping to see a final and not some full time defending and a quick counter attack tonight. May the best team win. Kenya ni yetu sisi sote

Chelsea deserved the win. A bit of luck though was on their side. Robben missing a penalty. Kudos to the owner billionaire too,he has stayed put for long to finallly win the UEFA today

Not possible for a 33 year old striker who just won the only trophy to have eluded him thus far. Of course he can get that pay check...at Anzhi or the same team Anelka went to I actually predicted a Chelsea win on penaz just before the game where I was watching and could have won some money if someone had accepted my bet. The Heineken invite was good, there was a lot of food but unfortunately only 3 free pints...just too many invitees, in fact the whole Carni was a Heineken invite only affair. Kama kawaida I was able to hustle for more pints. So congratulations to Roman's army for winning it, now he might be forced to hire Di Matteo even if he didn't want to...but I have a feeling ahsante ya punda ni mateke. Poleni sana any Spurs fan BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Members of the 2012 G8 watch the UEFA Champions League Final. Germany's Chancellor Merkel is standing in the middle and looking very unhappy. It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt... -Mark Twain

..It was Chelsea's night as i had predicted and quite a nervy final it was. I think once again Di Mateo's tactics were spot on, there greatest danger was Robben and he was snuffed out completely by Ashley and Bertrand and what a gamble that was playing the young left back. I felt Bayern were there for the taking but Chelsea were too nervous when in possession and gave the ball away to quickly but one thing i liked and will be a feature of next season is our shape in defence absolutely in penetrable and in-fact the goal they scored was Czech's mistake however he more than redeemed himself. The more the game went on the more i fancied us and like @smano i actually wanted penalties as i rated Czech quite a bit. Same mistake Ronaldo did against Czech in 08 Bastian followed it's very difficult to beat Czech with a stutter shot but i think the pressure was immense as Czech was reading them all correctly. So Campione of Europe and who the F** are united so the song went, and all of a sudden we are in pole position in signing players (hazard's agent has been sighted at Cobham) am sure Modric wants to come to Chelsea but it will be at the fraction of last year's cost and most importantly we in Europe next season wonder what Ary must feel!! The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.
