i passed by there earlier on today and saw they have freshly re-dug the new river route-360 degrees phase 1 is ok since its far from the river.
360 phase 2 will have to be redesigned to allow for the river as per Michuki 30m riparian wayleave.

Along the Gikomba road closer to Wakulima market, someone has literally built on top of the river and the house is miraculously still standing strong...

Nakumatt westgate also seems to be built on top of a river or very close to the river -the building is still standing strong even after the recent storms..

easiest way is to get someone at mavoko council lands dpt to check 4 u in their files..

Really? the board indicates the project is by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority. It says upgrading of Syokimau-Katani road.Some residents say the tarmac will cover atleast upto 5km off msa rd.
