At last, after waiting for close to 2yrs,I walked into Thika land office, walked out with my ready title deed.
A miracle.
What amazes me is, it took a day for everything to be done and signed.
All other time, my file was dusty in a corner somwhere.
No complaints though, got what i wanted.
Had almost believed that i will never get it.
And that, made my week.

@ali, congrats enyewe getting a title deed is an achievemnt. So how do u verify that you are the only one who walked out with a title deed for the same piece of land as yours? we live in dangerous times, you know.

i am the only one with the title.
It was a ballot allotment.
The challenge in getting the title was not with the land office as with rhe land directors...i fueled their cars many times to take them fro one place to another.
I have a copy of the original register and o bought the plot from the original allottee who happens to be a close friend.
The land office kept on sending me back to the directors and the directors kept on saying they had sent all documentation.
Until i knew who to talk to and he cordinated everything so wll so fast.
If only i had known him an year ago

Glad that you got the title. I deal with that office and I know the challenges there. We keep hoping that things will get better.
