Teachers have 5 weeks to opening next term. Another 5wks in August, and about 7wks in Dec. 17wks leave in 1 year. Perhaps one can do sthing meaningful.

The job is hectic.

One plus one does not always equal to two.

Teaching is one of the traditional careers persued by those who may not have adequate info about other avenues of life, and those with the fear of the unknown about professional life.
Teaching is a noble profession and has to do with assisting, not serious business.
It is not a lucrative career, and unless a teacher starves himself,he may never find cash to invest.
Many teachers are not wise investors, and will most probably fail in their investment endeavours.
Teaching does not carry with it the prestige endowed in other careers.
Teachers are at the disposal of every Tom,Dick and Harry, and often rub shoulders with them, perhaps this is the reason why little respect is accorded them. Some say it is one of the professions associated with Jesus. Others being carpentry and forces. They carry some nobility. I would not advice my kid to persue it.
Teaching however is very fulfilling when you see your products blossoming as much as you may never enjoy the fruits with them.

Always at the exposure of young people for those who like working with the young and moulding them. Always at the exposure of fresh succulent faces and thighs-high school and colleges. It is also an advantage admired secretly by many of those working in other professions.

We all owe our successes to teachers and must therefore respect them however poor they may be. We also largely entrust our kids to them and hope they will give them a better future than ours.

One plus one does not always equal to two.

To say the least teachers are some of the most advantaged employees right now hata kama wanalipwa njugu, especially those in the rural areas. I envy them why lie!

Imagine living in your own house,no bus fare, taking lunch from your home. Eating fresh foodstuff from your own shamba save for things like wheat, sugar e.t.c.

Loans at your disposal e.g From their Saccos,Can plan time table in a way that all fridays and mondays one is free,i.e having long weekends thruout the year during this time one does his/her own businesses.

All in all those who use their time wisely and take advantage of the loan facilities at their disposals are some of the richest people right now!

For me to live is Jesus Christ,to die is gain
