Do people talk about Howard Webb because of ignorance or because they have nothing better to do? To all Howard Webb bashers, see links below. They might reduce you level of ignorance!!!

Howard Webb is the only refree in history to take charge of the Champions League and World Cup finals in the same year!!! But I guess some holoi poloi know better than UEFA and FIFA combined.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Taking charge of UCL means nothing! WE have starts when he is officiating United matches!

@maich...wewe ndio holoi poloi kabisa......

Webb, who refereed the World Cup final in South Africa in 2010, showing a record 14 yellow cards, will be part of the team of officials handling the 31 matches in Poland and Ukraine.

Is that good or bad for a referee???? He actually spoilt that game!!!

And in this list he is listed last.... meaning???

Cuneyt Cakır (Turkey); Jonas Eriksson (Sweden); Viktor Kassai (Hungary); Bjorn Kuipers (Holland); Stéphane Lannoy (France); Pedro Proença (Portugal); Nicola Rizzoli (Italy); Damir Skomina (Slovenia); Wolfgang Stark (Germany); Craig Thomson (Scotland); Carlos Velasco Carballo (Spain); Howard Webb (England).
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

"There were some strange decisions and for me, honestly, if you play a World Cup final, you need a world-class referee," Robben after 2010 WC final

Where there is smoke, there's fire. I'd think there is near consensus from fans other than Man U fans that Webb is not good enough. Question akina @Maich should ask is why him? I remember a very good ref Anders Frisk who quit after threats from a Chelsea fan and one Pierluigi Colina as the best in the business.
