Hone your writing skills. Pick something that you are proud of and start blogging. It may not pay off immediately but if you are good, you will eventually monetize the blog. The money will flow. Your blog has to be interesting and attract readers, advertisers will come on board. Some categories you may want to consider include economics, investments, entertainment, Food, communications and marketing, agriculture, poetry, sports etc. In short, you can blog about anything that you are knowledgeable about.
As internet speeds improve, the biggest challenge for telcos/entertainment companies/marketers etc is content. Companies like KDN recruit bloggers who can write interesting material. A well written blog cannot only be used to attract investors but can also be sold to a company that considers the blog relevant to its operations. For example, if I was amiran and dealing in agricultural products, I would be interest in linking my website to a blog on greenhouse farming, irrigation; especially if written factually by someone attempting greenhouse farming, or with the experience of greenhouse farming. So think think think!
