@ Njunge,i wondered the same last week ! How can a house full of 210MPigs not spot the glaring 'error'. What beats me most is HOW the Treasury Mandarins were going to siphon the money?

Were they going to send less money to the Ministries?

Would the surplus be used to pay some ghost projects?

It frightens me that similar 'Errors' may have occured since time immemorial !

Kinyua and Co. have alot of answers to give !

Only in Kenya,

Where else would the president's son inform an incompetent/courrupt minister that he has the support of the president!!!!

@Njung'e,I agree with you fully,I don't expect the Mpigs to pick anything apart from their noses and nyama stuck in their teeth.

But whoever picked up the error, may God bless him/her. Can you imagine the cribs, rims and mama's that 9.2B can buy you in Nai,I shudder to think.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

@Obi: Ministers are presenters and not preparers of the budget. They just indicate the general guidelines and the technocrats get to work. The minister then goes thro the prepared report with the key team involving the key technocrats,Asst minister and PSs and they all agree its in order...It would just take a rotten egg somewhere in the process to f*** up the figures in the computer room snd everyone is messed up....... Remember Mwiraria signing the dotted line????

If there is one lesson we should have learned from Martha Karua,it is that ministers should take political responsibility for a mess in their ministry. Uhuru should from the word go have acknowledged that something does not look right and undertaken to get to the bottom of it.

He gave perfect reason to his haters to come out venomously and distract from the maize theft. He is a presidential contender bound to be hit hard and if he did not know, this is his baptism by fire and he sure looks far from 'white as cotton wool'.

Allow me to throw a curve ball.....

@Tusker you said it...wtf....but let us try to see the bigger picture in all of this. I watch documantaries about animals and how they hunt, much has been said about the lions and cheetahs who use strength and speed..for me a hyena ranks ups there with the best ..they will eat a buffalo alive if they spot the slightest hint of weakness...they do not execute the animal first the eat it alive..gross i tell you and you actually feel for the animal...

What is my point...in the past weeks we have seen our neighbours try and grab our land..Somalia and Uganda..they clearly know where the borders are but like my illustration they are the Hynes and Kenya is the buffallo..and surely the Buffallo is dying..M7 has pressed MK's buttons and he knows how far he can go..the other hyenas are just waiting until we fall down..Lesson number one.

The US government has reiterated in the strongest messege yet that we are living on borrowed time..Echos of Ivory Coast...they are one country but 2 totally different regions North and South...sounds familiar??...you need permission to cross either..what happened someone went to their State House and killed the president and assumed the presidency..and you can guess what happened after this.they have never recovered...What this does is that the Institution of the presidency is greatly undermined and it becomes just another post..from there it is all downhill..i have seen this been done in the instiution of the PM..what will stop now somebody storming the office and 'assumes' the role or even the presidency...Lesson number 2

I have seen people take sides on our Elitist leaders...we are so convinced that they are for us that we fail to see they are all against us..hence elitist...This is what happened in the French Monarchy...Louis XIV and co...what happened they were beheaded in the streets as people cheered..i know there is a big discontent among the masses in regards to our leaders and i know people are fed up..what will happen n 2012..??? Lesson number 3.

In short unless something drastic changes we are headed into anarchy and we will surely take each other out ..what we are experiencing are the tell tale signs of a state collapsing..what is sad there are so many examples around us but we just can't see..our leaders will live on ..Kabugas wife struttles on SN brussles first calss between BRU and NBO..life goes on for this people..well what about the rest of us...!!!

This are surely trying times for Kenya and History means nothing unless you write it...the question is how will we write it..??

Of course this leaves lots of york on Uhuru's face.
In the court of public opinion,it matters pretty little that someone under him and or computers conspired to bring about this mess - Uhuru takes blame, just as he would reap if the outcome were positive.
However, more importantly, after all is said and done, whoever is found culpable, should face the music.
If it turns out that Uhuru had something to do with it,he should carry his own cross.

I wonder why anybody would want to try very hard look at this matter in the tribal perspective.
Instead of waiting for others to start the thread, take up the mantle.
In fact someone started one earlier which didn't go far.

Haiya!! 9.2B typo grows to 14B,and predictably Uhuru ran back to his tribal cocoon to claim that money has been poured to finish him politically. Typical Kenyan politics, his fellow Kikuyu mpigs and tribesmates are the only ones defending him while the rest of Kenyans wonder who the hell is that fat ass Kiguoya's son to give Uhuru a clean bill of health eti Kiguoya has his back.

Controversy surrounding the Supplementary Budget took yet another dimension amid revelations that the actual figure involved could be as high as Sh14 billion.

@Tusker,

Sorry then for saying what you do not want to hear.............and also watch out for those who will end up on the chopping board..........Someone is playing very silly politics and i want you to see the bigger picture.............start with the fight at Kisumu airport and work backwards.

Right,,the same pigs who missed it in the first place are now Uhuru's saving grace. I wonder how much they each pocketted to legitimize the typo billshiet. And if this was just a typo, why have forensic invesigations going back 3 yrs? Iko gitu and this is not the end of it.

The sad thing........

we will take sides, call each other names, even kill one another.

they steal from us,we still have bad roads, unemployment, poverty, insecurity, name it !

When they steal maize, oil, make typo errors etc,me and you suffer, period!

Ama kuna wale wananunua unga kwa bei rahisi? or pay 50bob for a litre of petrol wen the rest of us pay 100bob?

We want to trivialise Kenyan issues and make them look like tribal issues, how do you explain the Mungiki-like outfit in Kisii?

Am sorry to say its a shame that we have the best in SK,career men and women, the most learned, name it,but our thinking is the same as that of the not so well schooled,we are watching the country go to the dogs and are making fun of it.

please be objective when posting responses here!

i dont own SK though

but please, whatever you say here, ask yourself how its helping Kenya.
