Am not trying to look down on anybody and if I do,I apologize in advance.
When someone says the unrealized hedge loss of Sh 7.5 billion by KQ is only for records sake,I see a desperate person who is willing against will that KQ is still viable and financially strong simply because he holds a huge lot of the same.
Sample this:
Mr. Richard Nuttal, the KQ airline’s Commercial director, tendered his resignation on Thursday. He quit a day before the announcement of the financial results. Sources said the director was sacked after he differed with the management over the rationale of the fuel hedging process that has hurled the airline into deep financial mess. (Source: Local Media)
Wishing away losses does not make them go away. Count your losses in KQ and run to a favorable counter when you still can.

Closing your eyes to the truth won’t make it go away, neither is throwing good money at bad money.
Someone once said,They walk among us,the problem is that they portend to give advice, never want to learn from past mistakes, but the worst part is that they reproduce.
They walk among us,and they reproduce.
