This guy nyongo who goes for treatment in the US has the guts to tell Kenyans that he doesnt micromanage nhif yet he wants them to take more money from us meaning he knows it goes down the drain. Picture this Thika district hospital gets 1.2m yet it really needs cash to improve infrastructure. thika clinix an empty 40ft container gets 6.5m. We know who they are with this regime they wanted ncc parking uped to 500ksh pd now nhif vote them in and u will pay to breath in kenya

A politician once said campaigns are very expensive. It seems this time the target is NHIF. Very shameless fellows they even have audacity to issue funds to clinics which are not even operational! Prof. Muga and Atwoli have saved su from a big scam!

I've just come across this blog about the unfolding NHIF saga. This one may blow up like the CMC saga smile

Information is power. Never under-estimate the power of blog-nation, which has overtaken the lame stream media. This is why gubberments globally are trying to control if not shutdown the Internet. Bure kabisa! Impossible feat that even the chinese haven't achieved...

http://www.dennisitumbi.com/?p=408

Some names highlighted include:
- Dr. Jayesh Saini (jayeshsaini@gestopharma.com)who owns 99% of the Clinix and
- Toddy Madahana a former Intelligence employee (NSIS) and now a senior staff member of KEMSA who owns 1%.

Quote:
Interestingly, Jayesh was allowed to receive NHIF Money despite being an owner of Gesto Pharmaceutical Ltd substandard – which recently hit media headlines for a bizarre case, where they supplied fake tablets laced with chalk worth Ksh 160 million through the Dannish Embassy.

The drugs had been paid for through a German aid agency. After the sale, the drugs were distributed to health centers across the country and had to be recalled when the scam was blown up in the media. It was not immediately clear how many patients had consumed chalk across the country’s health centers… but that was the man the NHIF chose to deal with.

As if that was not enough, they had Madahana, dress up in a white Turban and spectacles as they knowingly paraded at a Parliamentary Committee as the CEO of Clinix, while both the ministry and the NHIF knew he was an employee of KEMSA – itself a parastatal under the Ministry of Health.

Madahana, was kicked out of NSIS in 2002 for gross Misconduct.

Another name appearing in dennisitumbi.com investigations is Akran Khan, this site could not however establish his role if any in the saga.

Clinix's CEO Turban was so neat and well done until it looked as fake as his Company. Ask any Turban wearing guy and we will tell you the Turban was "fake". Then add the specs and they guy was even sounding comical. He should have a Scam 101 lesson with Kamlesh

The rate at which scams are getting exposed worldwide is really intriguing. Is it divine intervention since some of the scandals are involve very powerful people. E.g. Murdoch, Jon Corzine etc.

Feels surreal smile

I can see parliament is unearthing things on Jayesh & the NHIF connection.
