The Sabatia MP said as president, he will create a minimum of 15 million jobs for Kenya youth and assist small and medium size enterprises (SMEs) in creating employment.
Laughing out loudly 15m jobs in 5 or 10 years? Even in 10 years that's 1.5m jobs p.a.

Then he will assist SMEs like Tuskyssmile

Sorry to say this, but for me, this was an anti climax.

Observations:
1] Could be wrong, but i sensed there were paid hecklers, who clapped, even when nothing of substance was said.

2]Why copy and not be original? Quiting ministry and retaining DPM?

3]Could somebody explain to me why he did not quit as the DPM?

4]So what assurance doe he have that there is 'democracy' in the new party?

5]Is he the party flag bearer and if so is that the democracy, he was talking about?

6]What was the idea of the Chairman introducing the officials by the regions they come from?

Same old same old ..........

@manyala, you expect Mudavadi to be very different? His candidature brings in a non-polarising candidate who will be in favour with the business elite. He does not promise any shift from how national politics is conducted now.

@Lolest!, agreed.

Is that what we want? Or we want a progressive leader who will move us from '3rd world' statutes?

Take it from me nothing will change. Especially, considering the political personalities there. Anyway, lets way and give him the benefit of doubt.
By the way, poor Naj. Bala. Came in late, strategically, but nothing more. Hata kuruhusiwa kusalimia wenye nchi?

A quick quess tell me you are a pessimist:

1.That's speculation.maybe there were hecklers, maybe there weren't.We shall NEVER know.

2.He's not copying, UK was pressured to leave his ministerial job coz of the ICC, MM left his position VOLUNTARILY.

3.the DPM position is a bit complicated, that's why you just don't drop it.

4.The party looks quite democratic to me.What makes you think it won't be democratic??

5.He is poised to be the party's flag-bearer... but if you or any other UDF member think you have better chances than him, you shall have your chance to challenge that.

6.To show that the party has a regional representation and that it seeks to unite communities and kenyans of different tribes/religions e.t.c.

Do you really need someone to explain all this to you??? You can't be that slowSad

@Youngmulla,
Wrong, I am a realist.

1]Thats why I said I stand corrected. However, why would a group of people cheer, even when no meaningfulstatement has been made.I believe that you are also aware these people exist.

3]The DPM position is a bit complicated, that's why you just don't drop it.
##Please elaborate. What is so difficult in this resignation?

4.The party looks quite democratic to me.What makes you think it won't be democratic??
##Looks? Hmmmm.

6.To show that the party has a regional representation and that it seeks to unite communities and kenyans of different tribes/religions e.t.c.
##Regional allocation of positions is proff of unity? What about democractic election? So do they have 47 officials?

Do you really need someone to explain all this to you??? You can't be that slowSad [/quote]

## Clearly you have not explained anything to me; have you? Just your assumptions.
But anyway, thanks for your effort.

A vote for MM is as good as voting for kalonzo, uhuru, ruto and raila...watu ni wale wale.

But voting for MM would be tragic. I don't think I need to explain that. Wacha mimi nikae nyumbani.

Psssst Psssst brother Mudavadi.its good to try to show to be your own man, but please note half of your cheerleaders are G7 sympathysers and trust me they know which side of their bread is buttered. They dont even have anything to do with you considering they know you are a light weight.Issue is your actions are helping them fight other bigger battles.

the question you should be asking is who is behind udf? why would hawks like Kioni et al risk oblivion by supporting it? why would astutes like abdikadir risk their squeaky clean reputation there?
there is more than meets the eye ..watch the space
I may be wrong..but then I could be right

Come to think of it, MM will be the flag bearer for UDFP. Remember, when threatening to leave ODM he said he WILL be on the ballot paper in this year's presidential election.
Democracy indead? Is this what democracy means for him? And what does this say about the UDF party? Is there democracy; ama they did a referundum and agreed that there is nobody interested in the presidency through this party?

Just asking?
