I thought cylinders belong to the oil companies and cannot be "sold"

This should be the case as per the regulations but I believe its conman-ship. If you bought the LPG cylinder from a supermarket and paid for a price inclusive of the cylinder how is it not yours?

@ Sparkly, ownership of cylinders is not very clear. KK sell the cylinders to the consumers, while Total does not sell - it holds a deposit on the cylinders. However with the LPG pool in place, consumers will end up owning the cylinders in their position.

@ Livie, the cylinders have the universal valve. 3500 shs for 13kg cylnder is too low, I decline.
