Just a quick question. All the footage I've seen of Ole Kiyiapi has him speaking in English. How eloquent is he in Swahili?

What does that matter?

I have heard him speak in Swahili and yes he may not be the most eloquent in Swa but he is Kenyan which is all that matters at this point in time.

What is the point of being eloquent in swa and all you do with it is to give proverbs smile .

Being eloquent in Swahili will allow him to connect to a wider audience.

That is true especially in areas beyond urban centers, but...

If Hon.Gideon Moi managed to win "Bar-ryngo ya keti", then in that sense JoK should not have any difficulties.

I have this opinion of him; One, he is either a very very good liar or two, the guy knows his stuff. So my big question, implementation???

..I have always wondered why can't a media house organise a Q&A session and parade all potential presidential contenders, they face the public and each other in a 2 hour session where they will be asked questions by members of the public ranging from 16yrs to 80 and see who is made of what. It would be interesting to see what they'd have to say without their well choreographed speeches, without their spin doctors et al. However i think some would not favour this as it would expose their lack of thinking capablities!!

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.
